1960's Vintage Flower Brooch - in two shades of Blue (SOLD)

This is a Groovy, stylish  metal, cold enamelled Flower Pin.  It was made in Providence, Rhode Island, USA - an area which has been at the centre of the USA jewelry trade since the earliest days of Vintage Costume Jewellery manufacturing. This is a great example of a 'New Old Stock' piece as it was made in the Swinging Sixties and has lain in a Warehouse until now.  You have the advantage of a true vintage item that is in New order. The enamel finish is bright and strong with a double layer of round ended petals surrounding a central dome.  The brooch is in two shades of blue - light and mid blue with a light blue centre and is finished in the same two-tone colourway on the reverse  . The style is that of a Daisy flower.  This brooch will really get noticed being 3 inches in diameter!  It fastens with a 'v' shaped back pin with a secure roll over type clasp.  The position of the pin ensures that this brooch will sit well on your lapel without flopping!
