1950's Italian Micro Mosaic Brooch in the form of a Guitar (SOLD)

This lovely little musical instrument brooch is made from micro mosaic and was hand worked in Italy in the 1950's.  There are lots of tiny glass flowers in many colours and little glass tiles in the design.  This vintage costume brooch is mounted in gilded brass and secures with a safety pin type closure.  It measures almost 1.5inches by a little over half an inch at its widest points.   Wouldn't this make an unusual Christmas gift or an original birthday present for a musical friend?
