1950s Italian Micro Mosaic Brooch - Oval Shape Pin with Flowers

A nice 1950s micro mosaic brooch with tasteful caramel coloured background and floral middle. Amongst variegated green leaves are several large flowers some which look like red poppies with their black middles and others which are fantasy flowers in shades of red, green, pink and white.  This vintage brooch is oval in shape and is set in gilded metal with a rope twist border to the brooch front. This 1950s brooch is in very good condition and has just a little clouding discoloration to the metal on the reverse. Fastening with a pin and wide 'c' shaped clasp the vintage brooch measures 3.5cms by 2.5cms.
