1950's Gilt Metal Glove Clip on Original Card

Here we have a nifty and useful Glove Holder on its original sales card.  From the English brand Zenette, this dress accessory is one of many ranges produced. Zenette are probably best known for their range of powder compacts, holders and hair grips. The glove clip is gold plated metal with a textured finish to the surface and with a gilt chain attached.  This is an interesting item for anyone collecting Vintage fashion,clothes and accessories as the sales card shows exactly how to use the item. The idea was to fasten the chain around the handle of your handbag and use the grip clip to hold on to your gloves.  This fashion accessory dates from the 1950's when it would have been just the thing for a sophisticated lady about town! This vintage glove clip measures about 2 inches by  an inch approx  and it is in excellent condition.  The glove clip is presented still fastened to its original packaging- a gold and black stamped card marked with the brand -Zenette Regd;, what it is - Glove Clip', ‘Made in England’' and a statement “Keeps Gloves Safe!” Which it most certainly would!
