1950's Diamante Necklace with Huge 'Diamond' Pendant (SOLD)

This vintage diamante necklace is a fabulous example of the mid 1950's style and is a top quality piece of vintage costume jewellery.  It consists of a well articulated rhodium plated necklace with individual claw set paste stones. There is a wonderful, showy pendant  attached in the centre.  In the old fashioned romantic style this diamante pendant is oval in shape and one and a half inches by one and a quarter inches. There is a large oval crystal  in the centre and six flower details in smaller crystals around it.  With nearly one hundred individual facet cut, foil backed, diamante stones this 1950's vintage necklace is a really sparkly one.  All the stones have been claw set and the articulated links ensure it sits perfectly at all times.  The necklace measures just 16 inches including the bolt ring clasp and loop and is in excellent condition.  This is a  vintage necklace for a fairy tale princess, for a bride, for the ball or a very special occasion!
