1950s Diamante Brooch - So Sparkly! (SOLD) (1)

Vintage diamante brooches are always such fun as they add a touch of sparkle to any outfit.  This lovely old brooch is no exception.  It comprises a 'figure of eight' shape with four sprays cascading down.  There are 45 individual diamante crystals in this vintage brooch.  The figure of eight part consists of 14 emerald cut shaped jewels with gilt backs to enhance their twinkle.  There is a large central round diamante and then 30 smaller round diamante stones on the four branches.  The brooch has a chromed metal finish and is in very good condition. To the back of this vintage 1950s brooch there is a brass pin and the closure is a 'c' type retainer. Measuring 5cm by 5cms at its widest points this is a great size for a lapel and would be very suitable for bridal wear too.
