1950s Climbing Leaves with Austrian Crystal and Faux Pearl Clip On Earrings
Definitely unsigned designer ear clips, these are most likely from the design house of Coro USA and may well be from their English Jewelcraft brand. These 1950s clip on earrings have a delicate pale golden vine with leaves studded with individual Aurora Borealis Austrian crystals and shiny cream faux pearls - twenty Austrian crystal jewels and fourteen creamy pearls are on this pair. It is likely that in the 1950s they were part of a set with matching necklace, bracelet and brooch. Offered for sale here is just the clip-on earrings but it is likely that they would team well with costume jewellery from the 1950s era or even with a simple pearl necklace. These earrings are perfect for a bride, would make ideal party pieces or look great with a vintage frock or very smart with a 1950s winter suit. The leaves will sit gently up your ear and add a little touch of glamorous detail. They have a good balanced clip to the back - the kind that offer comfort for your earlobes too . Offered in very good order these vintage earrings measure around 4cms by 1.5cms at their widest parts. I have photographed them with a £1 coin to give a good indicator of their size.
