1940's Diamante Necklace - Bib and Swags! (SOLD)

Here we have a 1940's diamante necklace featuring a bib effect with swagged detail.  With around 140 diamante stones , every one of them having been claw set by hand, this is really something special.  The 'diamonds' are all faceted Austrian crystal with foiled backs to make them extra twinkly.  All the stones are round in shape but clever use of size and position has made a most effective necklace.  This  is a classic forties piece and is so wearable as a bit of Xmas sparkle for parties, balls or it would be beautiful for a bride.  The metal is silver tone and it has a rhodium finish.  This vintage necklace is great for many sizes varying from from 14 inches to 16 inches. It has a choice of positions for fastening -  a neat hook and 7 loops give you a chance to alter the size so it is perfect for your neckline.  This 1940's diamante necklace is in wonderful condition and is ready to go dancing again - I can hear Glen Miller's Moonlight Serenade playing...
