1940s Cufflinks - Chromed Metal and Mother of Pearl Lucite Finish

These lovely cuff links are traditional in their style but would have been an innovation in their time! These classic, simple links have discs of white pearl Lucite - an early plastic developed in the late 1930s.  The natural light reflected by mother of pearl shell is subtle and stylish and this set have all the same qualities but in a faux material which is long lasting. They will go very well with all fabrics and colours.  Mother of Pearl type links are a really good option for Wedding jewellery too. This nice pair of 1940s period Cuff links are in Excellent condition.  They consist of two discs of imitation Mother of Pearl held in which decorative chromed metal bands and fastening together with a chain link just.  The disc tops on these vintage cufflinks measure half an inch in diameter and have a button like look to them. They will be presented in a nice new small cream textured cardboard box which can be used with a cream felt pad or black felt pad as shown in the photos.
