1930's Sterling Silver and 'Amber' Crystal Necklace (SOLD)

This is a beautiful little vintage necklace from the 1930s era.  It consists of nine individual glass crystal oval gems which have been claw and cup set in sterling silver to make a very stylish and timeless necklet.  Each of the  yellow crystals is about half and inch by a quarter of an inch and is facet cut.  They have a warm amber coloured tone to them and are glowing because of the quality of the crystal and the cut they are open set and have no need for foiled backs to make them sparkle.  It is in excellent condition This art deco era necklace measures a fraction over 16 inches in length - ideal for inside a coloured shirt or blouse or perfect with a summer t-shirt.  Infact this is an extremely versatile piece of jewellery as it is smart enough for formal wear too.
