1930's Beaded and Sequinned Evening Bag

One side of this soft Ivory Cream 1930's purse has a delightful pattern of squiggly white seed beads with panels of bronze seed beads.  Golden bugle beads, pearlised beads and claw set diamante have also been used to decorate this 1930's evening bag on the front.  This Art Deco period purse has a little fabric and beaded handle to the top and is made on a frame with a 'kissing' type clasp.  Inside the bag is lined in an Ivory silk satin material, there is a little pocket  with a small mirror in it and a label that just says 'foreign'.   Measuring 7.5 inches by 5 inches approximately, this bag is in great shape for its age. We should mention that there are a few little red marks on the lining (possibly old lipstick marks) and there are a couple of brown 'age spots' too but  these do not spoil this beautiful antique bag at all.  This would make a perfect accessory for a 1930's Wedding dress and would be large enough to use for a few bridal essentials on the day!
