1920's Beadwork purse like a little Pansy! (Sorry this item is sold)
This little beaded purse in shades of blue and grey is the shape of a pansy flower with a trefoil design on it. It is handbeaded over both sides with lots of tiny round and bugle beads making up the design. It has a ball chain with a beaded ball for its handle and it fastens with a sliding ring and two press studs. Inside is a cream colour fabric but there are quite a few watermark type stains which show as brown marks on the lining. This is a sweet little purse from the 1920s to 1930s and would be lovely in a collection of vintage beaded bags and purses. Because of its tiny size it would also fit well into a miniature collection or would be great for the wardrobe of a treasured antique doll. It Is approximately 4 ins( 10cms) in diameter suspended from a double 5 inch (13cms) long chain handle.
