1910 -1920's Edwardian to Art Deco Open Set Crystal Necklet (SOLD)
This delicate little lead crystal drop necklace has a timeless appeal. It dates from the end of the English Edwardian period up to the mid twenties and is in a style known as 'Transitional'. Just five facet cut crystals give this beautiful piece of antique jewellery all the detail it needs. The stones, four round and one square cut gem, are open-set without any foil backing so they will never loose their lustrous shine. Each stone is held in place with an open cup and claws and the necklace has a very fine silvertone chain with a bolt ring closure. This vintage necklace measures approximately 16 inches in length and the drop detail is around 1inch.
